— Silk Handkerchiefs (September 2009) I became a big fan of this book when I read the first drafts a few years ago. Like all of Paul Haworths work, it storms head first into lifes inescapable anxieties and sorrow, offering consolation and insight through slapstick comedy and joyfully dense wordplay. A privilege to design and publish. The typeface on the cover is by Phil Baber. Buy the book from TRUE TRUE TRUE. |

— Andy de Fiets: Letter to Robin Kinross (January 2009) 22-year-old Andy de Fiets, on the verge of graduating from his graphic design studies, writes to his hero: Hyphen Press publisher Robin Kinross. Andy offers unsolicited advice, seeks much-needed guidance, and shares his thoughts on matters such as typography, The Smiths, Islamic fundamentalism, proper clothing, the homeless, dust covers. Andy spots every comma but misses every point. A delightful typographic comedy! Written with Paul Haworth. See & buy at TRUE TRUE TRUE. |

— 20.15 hrs & 21.15 hrs (November 2008) As part of her project Any Other Business, about verbal political interaction in the Netherlands, Nicoline van Harskamp asked three debate moderators to discuss their practice. In an attempt to find out to which extent moderators can control a debate, immediately after they were asked to repeat the discussion as closely as possible from memory. This booklet compares the two discussions. The transcriptions were cut up, repasted and underlined. Bound into the journal Open as an artist’s contribution, and stapled with cover as a companion to a two-screen video installation. Dutch and English versions. |
